Do you believe that the energy of words can be so powerful it could determine the state of happiness in your day to day life? Is it possible to heal yourself by changing the narrative on how you perceive life? I believe so, in fact that's the reason I write, using words (energy) to express myself is equivalent to shifting energy. Not that the narrative that I create supersedes the reality of the life around me, but rather allows me to change how I view the experiences that I have from multiple viewpoints.
Lows
Learning to watch how I speak to myself, plays a major part in mood control. I found that when under distress I was my own worst enemy and that was a major impact on how I would speak or engage with others. Even when things were on the up side, it would be hard to create a positive narrative because it would be out of the norm to receive positive affirmation from myself. I see now how your belief system also needs to reflect how you treat yourself, those embed ideas are your foundation. This is what connects the way you speak over yourself to the way your life will manifest into your reality. It is easy to stay stuck in old ways of thinking and living by old rules that were taught to us, all side affects of our external environments/upbringing and family dynamics.
Self talk is a powerful tool when creating your reality as well. Learning mediation helped me to understand how the brain works when focused on words in repetition. Mantra's are often used as a focal point during meditation and affirmations through repetition and can influence the mind into new concepts of reality. The same way having negative experiences repeat themselves throughout your life cycle impact you, positive experiences have the same power. Using words to affirm feelings are a powerful way to call your desired outcome to you, which makes room for things you desire to come to light.
Highs
Once you are aware of it, make it a consistent activity to catch it every time you are speaking against yourself or focusing your attention to less favorable outcomes vs the reality you'd like to see come to fruition. The devil is in the details, allow yourself to create details of good possible outcomes, our minds can often allow us to create negative narratives based on past experiences and then we believe that our instincts were right; truth is you introduced the negative outcome to the universe as soon as you put your focus on what you didn't want to happen.
Catch it and refocus your thoughts on what you'd like to happen. Try creating Mantra's or affirmations for yourself to get you back into the right flow if you get off track. Meditation has been a great practice for being able to maintain healthier thought patterns for longer periods of time, just based on how you will learn to control your focus more #KEEPGOING
Here are some Affirmations examples
