This is What You Came For

"Baby this is what you came for, lighting strikes every time she moves!"

There aren't many words to this song but every time I experience it , I am reminded of the significance. For me, it translates to keeping my face to God and not being distracted by the outside world so that I can hit my target or strike at the right time. It's easy to get distracted by all the thrills of life and forget what you came for. That's gonna look different for everyone but the point of it all is to accomplish something that matters to YOU and not the applause of the masses.

My desire is for God to clap for me and not just a regular clap, I need that soul clap! As loud as lighting with all the works, that's my conformation that I'm on track with where I need to be in the present moment. The balance of being a parent, entrepreneur and just a woman in general can be overwhelming sometimes; my remedy is always gonna be the same, God.

Kinda like Harry Potter with "Expelliarmus", this was his signature spell that worked every time! Harry was well equipped to defeat his enemies with numerous forms of spell work but his go to spell was a reflection of who he was at his core. Although there may be many ways you can handle situations that will give you your desired outcome the Remedy that matters is the one that speaks to YOUR nature at heart. Figuring out your own way to get to this space is all part of the journey so, if you don't feel like you've found your signature move its okay...this is what you came for (pun intended)! Keep Going
